Funerals
We also find that at the time of the death of a loved one, the family, even when they come from several different religious backgrounds (or none at all), would like to have a funeral or memorial service where the existential questions of life and death are held up within a spiritual context. They would like to have a service and burial conducted by an ordained clergyperson. They sometimes would like the service to take place in a church rather than the more impersonal setting of a funeral home. Reverend Sanderson is usually available to officiate at the funeral or memorial services of persons who either are or are not members of our church.
