Church Boards and Committees
Board of Deacons:
Consisting of a group of women and men who are responsible for the spiritual direction and guidance of the church, the deacons serve communion, are available for visitation, plan special services and assist the pastor in matters of faith and worship.
Board of Trustees:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the physical property of the church.
Board of Christian Education:
Responsible for providing qualified teachers and making decisions regarding curriculum for the children’s Sunday School
Board of Stewardship and Growth:
Responsible for overseeing pledge giving and fund raising events such as the craft fair and yard sale. Also responsible for promoting the growth of the church through newspaper notices, the church sign with changing messages, special events and this web site.
Investment Committee:
Responsible for the church’s investments which provide part of our annual income to augment funds raised from other sources. Our overall annual church operating budget is approximately $80,000.
Nominating Committee:
Responsible for providing committee candidates to be voted on at our annual meeting
Church Council:
A committee of committees, meeting quarterly, which provides a means of communications between all committees and boards.
